WHAT WE OFFER
Our DeepDives are focused on areas of innovation with the potential to profoundly disrupt health organizations in the near term. We attract some of the most promising startups (focused on that topic) to participate, and we work with each startup (one at a time) to develop a genuine understanding of what they believe, about how the forces of disruption are unfolding that led them to pursue their Big Idea. By doing this with numerous startups, all focused on the same area of disruption, we get the opportunity to identify the most compelling EDGE-INSIGHTS... our job is to distill these into actionable recommendations for our enterprise clients.
We offer several ways for your organization to tap into these actionable insights & recommendations, from a single DeepDive to briefings on all of the DeepDives (annual membership).

PLATFORMS IN HEALTH – Digital Platforms are disrupting a wide range of industries, but health has numerous unique attributes, so we’re exploring how digital platforms are most likely to unfold in Health, Wellness & Betterment over the next 3 to 5 years.
PRECISION HEALTH – Exploring how the inclusion of an individual’s genotype, phenotype, environment & behavior will impact Health, Wellness & Betterment analysis and recommendations over the next 3 to 5 years.
DEEPDIVE'S
Within each THEME we identify specific areas of innovation (topics) that have the greatest potential to disrupt established health organizations, and we conduct a DeepDive, immersing ourselves in the foundational thinking of some of the most disruptive startups & innovators that we can find (focused on each specific topic).

FIRSTEP offers several ways for enterprise to tap-in
to the insights that emerge from our DeepDive's:
IMMERSION
When a DeepDive topic is critical to your strategy, the best option is to participate directly in one or more of the startup sessions related to that topic. This gives you the chance to participate in the rich discussions around a huge range of disruptive forces and gives you a much richer feel for how edge-innovators see things unfolding (and why). You’ll receive the thesis for each of the startups who participate in that DeepDive, plus a formal briefing on all DeepDive learnings/insights plus the FIRSTEP Thesis and recommendations emerging from that DeepDive.
Optional - build internal alignment by through a formal 'thesis formation' process and 'edge-test' of your existing strategy & execution plan. (see detailed description below)
Venture Investing - for those interested in venture investing, we also offer the thesis output and a venture impressions briefing for each of the startups that participated in the DeepDive.

DISTILLED BRIEFINGS
If you are unable to participate in all of the theme sessions, either because of time constraints, or because the theme has already completed, you may want to consider a ‘distilled’ experience. You'll recieve a compressed briefing on the key learnings and fresh insights, as well as our DeepDive 'Thesis' and recommendations.
